Momentum for a factory farm moratorium is growing! A new survey by the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future found 63% of Iowans support a factory farm moratorium. This is something every state legislator needs to hear!

Join IARA members at the Iowa State House on Thur. morning 1/23 to lobby on a factory farm moratorium bill. With Iowa’s water quality crisis getting worse every year, we need a moratorium NOW!

Learn how the Sierra Club’s Beyond Coal campaign is working for a transition to clean energy. Katie Rock will share about the campaign’s efforts in Iowa, including details on the George Neal plant in Sioux City.

Beyond Coal has played a role in retiring over 300 coal power plants nationwide since 2010. Which plants in Iowa could be next? Katie will let you know how you can get involved.
